Cold, empty, silence

Far away from home

You put me down

My mind is spinning all around

You want the truth

You lied to me

I don't know what I should believe

I can't keep playing

All these games

What are you trying to achieve

Tell me who

Tell me why

I don't think I'll ever know

Because your love is cold

Because your love is old

Because your love is sold

Pressure crashes like a wave

I'm slammed against the reality

I don't know how to swim

My first brush with mortality

My mind is like a cave

Constant echoes of emptiness

There is no one to save

My wretched soul of the void

I can't tell you who I was

Because I don't know who I am

Am I important

The seasons change all around me
From bud, to green, to orange, to bare
And now
What's this feeling there
Such a feathery feeling

Hold my heart
Keep it hostage
Don't say no

Paint me a picture of the truth
Paint me a picture of me and you
Crawl back into your dreams in flight
But of course, you just might

You just might plummet down and fall
Take a trip and watch me crawl

Look outside - it starts to snow

Start writing fiction
